Ontheflyexpeditions - undertaking expeditions around the globe since 1975
Early morning start - just beyond the Pokot mission at Cacatoto - Kenya 2008

Experience the Unexplored:

"I want the world to see what we are about to lose."

                                               Tommy Allen

"We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time."

                                                     -- T.S. Eliot

                    "To see a world

in a grain of sand and

                     a heaven in a wildflower

                     hold infinity in the palm

                     of your hand and eternity

                     in an hour.

                                 -- William Blake

At Ontheflyexpeditions we travel across International borders to the last remaining tribal, cultural, wildlife and biodiversity rich strongholds.  We work closely with indigenous communities in order to bring needed resources in the form of tourism dollars, donations of labor, skills, and materials.  We work with these communities in a collaborative effort in order to help bring about positive change both within ourselves and the people who's lives we touch.  We are educators, adventurers, anthropologists, linguists, archaeologists, environmentalists, information gatherers, and ultimately students of the natural world.

We achieve our goals by including remote locations in need of conservation or preservation resources.  We search for ways to improve the lives of those communities we visit by observing, assisting, suggesting and ultimately bringing in much needed foreign currency in the form of environmentally sound practices. All infrastructure that we utilize during research and expeditions must be run in association with local communities.

Ontheflyexpeditions undertake expeditions to remote destinations, working closely with local communities in order to solve some of our globes most pressing issues.
